With competitors, track staff and fans in the off-season, the dates for the upcoming season have been released. The season ahead has some shows that you will not want to miss with Ellesmere playing host to the NZ CTRA TQ Title and also south Island Titles for Midgets and Sprintcars.

There has also been soe new additions to the track with a new concrete pole line and the exciting new Dorian ELS (Electronic Lap-Scoring System). The system uses transponders that are fixed to the race cars and electronic cables underneath start/finish line below the surface of the track to send data to a computer in the control tower.
